Question: How does a partial work?
Answer: A partial isn’t designed to replace every tooth. Instead, the prosthetic address multiple tooth loss spread out across the arch. The prosthetic contains your replacement teeth, as well an acrylic base and metal clasps that attach to the natural teeth and hold the prosthetic firmly in place.
Question: When do I need a full?
Answer: A full is necessary if you’ve lost a majority of your teeth or all of them. A full row of new teeth sits in an acrylic base. The prosthetic is then held in place with natural suction (you may also use a special adhesive). The full replaces every tooth on one or both arches, restoring your smile.
Question: Will they be comfortable?
Answer: Yes! Each one is custom-made based on detailed impressions we will take of your smile. At a dental lab, they will be fabricated using the impressions to ensure a comfortable fit. In addition, the material we use for modern dentures ensures they are much lighter than their predecessors.
Question: Will they look natural?
Answer: Yes! We want them to blend with your smile or reflect your unique facial features. Impressions also ensure we can design them to look natural. The acrylic base is made to mimic the appearance of gum tissue, and we use lifelike materials for the teeth.
