- True or False: We can remove teeth stains.
- True or False: Minor damage can be fixed in one visit.
- True or False: We can transform your smile in two visits.
Answer Key
- True. You have two options. First, you can undergo in-office whitening, in which we remove stains in about one to two hours with a bleaching gel and a curing light. We also offer an option you can use at home, where we provide you with a set of trays and beaching gel. The at-home option can often address more serious discoloration. We can help you choose the option that is right for your smile.
- True. With dental bonding, we use a composite resin, which is metal-free and can be shaded to blend with a tooth, to repair minor chips. We can also close gaps between teeth and mask permanent tooth discoloration. The procedure only takes one sitting. We can also perform a contouring procedure, in which we gently buff away a small layer of tooth structure to reshape malformed teeth, dull overly pointed teeth, and remove any pits or grooves in the tooth’s surface. Again, the procedure only takes one visit and we often complete both bonding and contouring in the same visit.
- True. We can create and place custom-made veneers, which are restorations that cover the front and sides of the tooth. We can use them to mask teeth stains, lengthen worn down teeth, reshape malformed or damaged teeth, close gaps between teeth, and even correct the appearance of minor alignment issues.
