Question: When do you use soft tissue lasers?
Answer: We use soft tissues laser for a number of different procedures. For example, we can perform gum contouring to reshape the gum line and remove excessive tissue. We can also treat canker sores and remove infected issue to help manage gum disease. The laser reduces the risk of bleeding and infection, promotes a faster healing time, and requires no anesthesia or sutures.
Question: What is DentalVibe?
Answer: To avoid the discomfort of injection when administering anesthesia, we use DentalVibe, which produces low frequency vibrations to reduce the pain of injection.
Question: Do you have intraoral cameras?
Answer: In order to gather pictures of your smile we can use an intraoral camera. A tiny digital camera on the end of a wand can gather detailed images of your teeth and gums in a matter of seconds without discomfort. We can then show you these images to explain your oral health and what treatments you may need and why.
Question: How do digital x-rays work?
Answer: Not only do they use 80% to 90% less radiation, but digital x-rays also don’t require lengthy development using harsh chemicals. Instead, we can obtain accurate and detailed x-rays of your teeth, gum, jaw, and oral tissues in a matter of seconds and show them to you chairside, allowing us to walk you through a diagnosis and to discuss treatment.
