Can you believe December is already here? By now, you’re probably watching your schedule fill up with parties and holiday events. If you wish you could attend these celebrations with a brighter smile, then let us know! We offer Garland, TX, patients brighter smiles with professional teeth whitening.
In-Office and At-Home Teeth Whitening
If you have stained teeth, then we have two different options to help. Our in-office procedure removes stains in one visit using a special bleaching gel and a curing light. Our at-home option addresses surface discoloration and minor intrinsic teeth stains. We send patients home with a set of custom-made trays and a bleaching gel. Over the course of one to two weeks, they can enjoy a smile brightened by multiple shades!
In order to prescribe a treatment, we will take a careful look at your smile to assess the cause and severity of your teeth stains. From there, we will decide which of our whitening treatments will provide you the most substantial results.
Keeping Your Smile Bright
Following treatment, you’ll likely wonder how to keep your smile bright. With a combination of preventive treatments and routine homecare, you can help your new results last longer. We suggest taking time to brush your teeth for two minutes when you wake up and again before bed. We also urge patients to floss before going to sleep. Brushing and flossing limit how much plaque can accumulate. Plaque buildup, in addition to increasing the risk of tooth decay and gum disease, also causes stains to become more visible.
You should also cut back on sugary foods and drinks and consume fewer beverages with dark pigments (such as coffee, tea, soda, red wine, and certain fruit juices). Every six months, we hope you will stop in for a dental cleaning, which removes plaque and helps brighten teeth.
