Creating a Set of Prosthetics

Removable and Implant Supported
The finished prosthetic will contain a full row of lifelike ceramic teeth set in an acrylic base, one designed to look like gum tissue. The teeth will not only look natural, but will be able to handle daily bite forces and pressure. For the removable option, the upper set is held in place with a special adhesive, and the lower with suction. They last about 5 to 10 years, and need to be replaced as the jaw ridge changes shape. They also have to be removed for soaking and cleaning regularly.
But with the implant portion, we actually insert multiple dental implants in each arch, and the denture is connected to them with a series of abutments. This means your prosthetic is fixed in place and never needs to be removed. The implants also stimulate the growth of jawbone tissue, so your jaw ridge doesn’t change shape and your prosthetic can stay in place for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.
