We’ve Made Changes To Keep You Safe

new health and safety measures

Our team understands that many people have put off routine visits to the dentist out of concern about the COVID-19 pandemic. However, your Garland, TX, dentist also knows that without checkups and cleanings, and routine care for toothaches or sore gums, very serious complications could arise that may even lead to tooth loss! To ensure you can visit our office and enjoy peace of mind, we’re made changes to our health and safety protocols.

Getting Ready for Your Visit

To keep our patients safe our team is following the strictest recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Texas Dental Association (TDA) and others. When you arrive, please remain in your car and call us at your scheduled appointment time. When the waiting room is empty, we will call you. We want to ensure proper social distancing, so we’re sticking to a strict schedule. We’ve removed hard to disinfect items from the waiting room, such as magazines and toys, and we require patients to wear a mask. When you enter the building, we’ll provide hand sanitizer, take your temperature, and have you fill out a form with COVID-19 screening questions and disclosure.

Our New Technologies and Safety Protocols

Our entire team will be wearing PPE, including masks, face shields, gloves, and gowns. A hydrogen peroxide pre-rinse will be offered to help disinfect your mouth, and we will be cleaning and sanitizing the office multiple times throughout the day. We also have special air purifiers to capture and remove aerosols, such as particles of virus or bacteria, from the air. All of these steps help ensure we provide a clean, sterile, and comfortable place to undergo minor or extensive dental treatment!

The Benefits of a Checkup and Cleaning

When you and your family attend checkups and cleanings, we have a chance to keep an eye on your smile and identify possible areas of concern in the earliest possible stages. We address cavities and gingivitis before you develop infected teeth or gum disease! We also help kids gain a better understanding of their oral health, and instill good dental habits too. If you have any questions about our health and safety protocols, or if you would like to schedule a visit for you or a member of your family, then give us a call so we can schedule your next appointment.
